A history of victories and innovation 

From the Akron workshop in 1870 to the first tire research centre in the United States, BFGoodrich racked up a series of “firsts”: tubeless tire (1947), radial tire offered on the U.S. market (1965), run-flat tire (1967), then the creation of the “all-terrain” category in 1976. The brand also collaborated on the Space Shuttle program for landing wheel/brake/tire assemblies.
